If you prefer to use slightly larger street wheels or smaller AT wheels on your Evolve, we recommend choosing the larger 47T sprocket, which has a slightly larger diameter. This will help your belts last longer when they’re driving a larger wheel. The standard size for Evolve’s street versions is otherwise 32T, but as soon as you choose wheels larger than 97 mm, we recommend the larger drive sprocket. This belt is designed for the 47T hub. The belt is of the highest quality and uses GT3 technology, which ensures strength and quieter rotation. The belts break in well, allowing them to perform at their best for a longer period of time.
As always when installing a new belt, be careful not to tighten it too loosely or too tightly. If it’s too loose, there’s a risk it will slip, and if it’s too tight, the belt will wear out a little faster. A good rule of thumb is to tighten it so that there’s still a little give when you press on the belt.
Another tip is that when you check the motors, they should stop at about the same time when you release the throttle if they are adjusted with equal resistance in the belts. This assumes that the ball bearings are not worn on one side more than the other.
Below is a video showing how to replace the belt on your Evolve. This belt is sold individually, so you'll need two if you want to replace the belts on both drive wheels.
