Recently, Heartwood Skateboard released the news that they are now announcing a design competition for their upcoming series of boards under the name Urban Design Series. Det är i vår mening en grymt häftig idé där man faktiskt låter alla kreativa och talangfulla konstnärer där ute få en chans att sätta sin grafik och sitt namn på en riktig skateboard. Ett bra tillfälle att visa upp dina skills och visst vore det supertufft att kunna säga att ”den där brädan har jag gjort”.
We liked the idea and thought we would help spread the word. If you or any of your friends have the talent, let them know. Who knows, maybe you'll have your artwork on the next Heartwood plank? Heartwood is a relatively young and newly launched brand from Sweden that has already started to gain some interest outside the country's borders.
At the moment it is unclear how many boards they will make but it feels like there will be more than one design released under the Urban Design Series name.
