Evolve are known for their quality and it feels extra safe to be able to offer them here at Boardlife. GTR Bamboo is an updated version of the boards in the bamboo series. They are available in a street version and an All Terrain which you can see here. An offroad monster built to get you everywhere on all possible surfaces and conditions. So it's the same board but different wheels.
The GTR Bamboo can be driven with the larger offroad wheels or you can simply switch to the smaller street wheels. Depending on whether you choose to drive the street wheels or all terrain, the range and top speed are slightly different. The larger wheels make you accessible in all possible places and the range is 30 km despite the large wheels! With a top speed of 36 km/h. If you switch to smaller wheels you can reach up to 50 km and a top speed of 42 km/h.
All Terrain will take you anywhere no matter what the conditions are. Its air-filled wheels also make the mobility and grip extremely good. For those of you who may live in places where you have gravel roads or the like, this is easily solved. You can even drive it over grass and paths if you want. This monster doesn't let anything stop you from taking the road you want to take!
So whether you choose All Terrain or Street, it's the same board. You can easily purchase a conversion kit to convert the GTR Bamboo to the desired version.

The Ride

The GTR deck is constructed of bamboo with the addition of fiberglass which puts you in the goldilocks zone for flex and strength. Adjust the truck position to make them closer or further apart to dial in your ride, just the way you like it. Whether you're into short and sharp or long and deep carving our bamboo deck has a classic longboard vibe and will give you a softer feeling underfoot. But don't let that fool you, coupled with our pneumatic tires this board is like a cheetah unleashed and will come alive when ridden on pretty much any terrain. Unlike other AT boards the Bamboo GTR AT is compatible with our Street Kit which completely changes the feeling by putting a world of street wheel options at your disposal.
The Remote
The Evolve Bamboo GTR offers more riding modes than ever before allowing riders of any level to safely enjoy the product and have the ability to adjust your riding mode while riding to suit conditions and maximize efficiency. Use 'ECO' mode for easy control and a safe top speed, perfect for beginners and those riders wanting a relaxed ride with longest ride times. Use 'PRO' mode to whiz past traffic and turn your commute into your daily adrenaline rush hour, and if you dare, switch to GTR mode to unleash insane power and acceleration with the ability to climb hills of up to 25% gradient. For those who want a power curve that is different to ECO/PRO/GTR modes, select CUST (custom) mode on the remote, then open up the Explore by Evolve App and dial in the power curve to suit your riding style. In this mode you can adjust the power to be weaker or even stronger than the stock speed mode settings that come with the R2 remote.
