Exway continues to push the boundaries of what an electric off-road board can be and presents Atlas V2 2WD/4WD. V2 provides a further evolution of their already iconic Atlas platform. This version is built for maximum performance, better durability and even more advanced technology.
The Atlas V2 is Exway's new flagship in the off-road segment. The board is built around a rigid carbon fiber deck which provides both low weight and high stability even when speeding up. Under the shell are four powerful engines that together deliver up to 2520W total power (5040W with four-wheel drive), which makes the board a strong monster.
This is simply a machine built for those who want to be able to drive fast, far and everywhere.
We at Boardlife are happy to be one of the very few to offer it to Sweden. So whether you want to roll on the street or take the shortcut through the woods, Atlas will be able to take you to a whole new level. Exway has, as before, been sharp at offering an incredibly sharp performance in relation to the cost.
Optional stylish mudguards are also available to keep you and your board protected from splashes. In addition, you already have prepared brackets for ShredLights if you want a good opportunity to hang on strong lamps. Neat, neat and, to say the least, flexible for those who want to be able to get good light to the board. Perfect for those who like evening skiing and who want to be seen in traffic, or maybe see the road in the forest better. Yes, in short, Exway is the brand that provides the most development opportunities and customizations around its products. Which makes it even more fun.
Another option is the powerful bash guard in anodized aluminum that protects the motors while riding, and also keeps the board looking nicer when you put it up. These bash guards work both front and rear depending on what you want to protect.
We at Boardlife proudly help Exway offer an arsenal of spare parts and accessories if you want to replace something you wear out or modify the board to suit your needs even better. This will be added to the site on an ongoing basis. But please contact us if you are looking for something specific.
An impressive specs gives you a crazy powerful machine which you can read more about below.
Atlas v2 as 2WD or 4WD
V2 is available in 2 different variants. Either classic two-wheel drive or with four-wheel drive. So which one should you choose? In general, we can say that if you are going to ride on good surfaces such as cycle paths without too many hills and winding terrain, 2WD may be best. It doesn't consume quite as much energy. So, in other words, if you don't often go to places where 4WD is required, you may not make full use of it.
But if you want to be able to take your board off-road, to go where the road is both twisty and steep, then 4WD will serve its purpose all the better.
Four-wheel drive is perfect for those who:
-
drive a lot off-road
-
want to be able to get up for steep slopes
-
go for it gravel, forest paths or uneven ground
Atlas V2 delivers a top speed of up to 55 km/h and is built to handle both technical terrain and fast driving on open roads.
Reach for real adventure
Atlas V2 is built for longer trips. The integrated battery pack uses 21700 Li-ion cells in 12S4P configuration to deliver stable power and good range.
The range is up to approximately 40 km (25 miles), depending on driving style and terrain.
If you want to go even further, it is possible to mount Exways AUX Pack, which can increase the range to up to 110 km(!).
Smart electronics and new remote control
Atlas Pro Gear V2 comes with the new The Rexus remote control, which has a large color screen where you can easily see:
-
speed
-
battery level
-
driving position
-
settings
The board uses Exways 3rd generation ESC system, which gives more precise control over acceleration and braking.
Through the app ExSkate you can also adjust settings, update firmware and track your trips.
Built for stability and carving
Atlas v2 uses Exway's popular Sad truck with double kingpin design, providing a combination of high-speed stability and a smooth carving feel.
This makes the board feel stable when riding fast, yet playful and agile when cornering.
Accessories and upgrades
The Atlas platform is built to evolve and adapt. Exway has created a whole ecosystem of accessories where you can tailor the board to your needs.
Available accessories include, among others:
-
AUX battery for extra reach
-
mudguards for wet surfaces
-
bash guards protecting engines and powertrains
-
brackets for ShredLights if you want to install powerful lights
About batteries
Please note that you should always follow the care instructions provided for batteries and electronics to maintain the board's performance over time. Make sure to always maintain and care for batteries according to Exway's recommendations. This is because batteries can naturally wear out over time.
